Wicklow Way initially then the Spink, down steps to the miner's trail and back to upper lake, before a left up to Camaderry ridge! and then back to car park. |
| gerry brady | Aug 15, 1:03AM | The new stretch of the M8 road is open. Take exit 11 and follow signs for Skeheenarinky. Inter county results will now be done by hand so please register on county team sheets at registration. Last part of course may be a little wet due to recent heavy rain so have shoes with grips with you and get course report before race start. Remember car pool if possible from Glengarra Woods. |

| Lindie Naughton | Aug 16, 4:46PM | Very alarming weather news from Tipp: widespread flooding road closed near Portlaoise, etc (see Irish Times online). |
| Tony Kiernan | Aug 16, 8:20PM | Just spoke with Gerry Brady 8.15pm Sat. He was just after running the course and reports that it was in good condition with just a bit boggy at the summit. Gerry reported that the roads are clear of any flooding in thew area and that the weather was very good once he got past Portlaoise. Good luck to all trying for World Trophy place tomorrow. Take care and safe driving... Tony |
| Rene Borg | Aug 19, 10:07PM | Results have now been loaded into the database for this race and overall IC individual and team results can now be viewed on the IC homepage. Big congratulations to John Lenihan who won the Irish Championship with just 1 pt to spare on Peter O'Farrell and just 3 points on 3rd man Bernard Fortune. Note that since the race was uphill only the men and ladies top-10 are also the scorers in the King and Queen of the Mountains categories. |
