Route Description: Three loops of the marked Clare Glens trail loop, going up the valley on the Limerick side, and down on the Tipperary side.
Getting There: Clare Glens, Newport, Co. Tipperary

Coming from Limerick, go straight through Newport and take a right at the GAA pitch less than 1km from Newport. This road will take you to an obvious car park on the right hand side about 2km (if you go over a bridge you've gone too far).

If you have already run an IMRA race this year, the cost is €5, and please bring your number with you.

For those who have not run an IMRA race, the cost is €10. You can speed things up by downloading the membership form and filling it in beforehand, but they will be available on the day as well.

Niall Enright	May 4, 9:09AM	This Wednesday's run is at the Clare Glens near Newport. Take the Dublin road from Limerick. At the roundabout after Finnegan's pub take the exit for Newport. Go straight through Newport and take a right at the GAA pitch about 0.5 miles from Newport. This road will take you to an obvious car park on the right hand side about 1 mile from the GAA pitch. (If you go over a bridge you've gone too far). This run is the first of our IMRA series of 8 hill-runs. It will consist of a 7 mile (11.2km) run with a height gain of approximately 210 metres. Should you wish to enter this series the cost will be €20 (€10 per person goes to join IMRA for the year). Your best 6 positions from the 8 races will then be used to give your overall ranking at the end of the series.Please arrive before 7.30pm to allow us time to register and issue race numbers. Niall.
