Con O'Donovan Apr 28, 12:45PM Hi, Will we be able to leave kit bags in the clubhouse during the event? cheers.
Ray Linn Apr 28, 1:17PM Yes,,, kit bags can be left in the clubhouse. Only requirement is that no dirty running shoes are allowed in the clubhouse after the race so you might have to remove the shoes to retrieve the bag!!
Con O'Donovan Apr 28, 6:22PM Thanks - better wear the good socks then!
Declan Carolan Apr 28, 9:25PM Hi, new to this mountain running. Where does the pre race admin take place?
Tim G Apr 29, 1:33AM Prerace admin? Ya mean registration? It's at the clubhouse also. (and Dec, try not to be hungover for this race also, the team needs you!)
Ray D Apr 29, 9:07AM Sorry but what clubhouse is everyone referring to?
Ray Linn Apr 29, 9:38AM Ray,, it's the GAA clubhouse in Dungriffan Road Howth. Map showing location is on the website Howth Race link,,,
Mark Lenahan Apr 29, 4:37PM First IMRA race in two decades, first in Howth.
I'm bringing some friends and work colleagues, als.
Will we have access to shower facilities in the GAA clubhouse?
Niall McAlinden Apr 29, 7:31PM Hey Everybody
I know that most people will already do this, but can anybody driving to the race with space in there car stop at howth dart station and pick up any skinny fit looking people they see... I'll be on a dart myself and I know many other people will be too. A lift would be very much appreciated.
Niall
Ray Linn Apr 29, 10:24PM Mark,,, Showers will be available
Mark McLoughlin Apr 30, 11:43AM If you are walking from the DART, there are steps going up the hill behind the shops and apartments and if you follow that path, up and up, through and behind the housing estates, and you'll come out onto the GAA pitch.

See this map:

Of course, if you go that way, no-one is going to see you to offer you a lift :-)
Jim Fitzharris May 6, 3:43PM Just a short note to belatedly thank the race directors & volunteer teams of both Bray and Howth for two great starts to the season. Both races were well marked and very well organised given the high turn out, many of whom had to be registered for the first time this year. You also managed dry weather as well, always a bonus! I really enjoyed both events and I look forward to many more this year.
Cheers,
Jim.
Rene Borg May 19, 6:19PM The long-awaited race report for Howth is now up!
