World Championships in Slovenia

The World Mountain Running Championships will take place in Slovenia on the first weekend in September. The event has attracted record entries with the senior mens field containing 156 runners and 23 teams (maximum 6 per team) from 38 countries.

The senior women field has 73 runners from 28 countries with 16 teams (maximum 4 per team).

The junior men field has 78 runners from 26 countries with 19 teams (maximum 4 per team).

The junior women field has 51 runners from 22 countries with 17 teams (maximum 3 per team).
