Volunteer
The key roles for every event are Race Director, First Aid Officer and (for larger events) Laptop Operator. These are the roles for which a person requires some prior training.
For these three roles, we operate Volunteer Panels.
Every IMRA runner should consider joining one of the Panels. We will provide the training and support required to do the job. We are sure that you will love the craic and sense of satisfaction that comes with volunteering and giving back to the organisation.
There are 2 ways you can join a Panel.
You can login to MyIMRA, choose "Edit my profile" and follow the instructions to join one or more panels.
Alternatively you can ask a panel owner to include you on the panel. The panel owners are:
- Race Director Panel - Dermot Murphy
- Laptop Operator Panel - Sinead Roche
- First Aid Panel - Jimmy Synnott
