Organisers Instructions:

We are holding a training session for Laptop Operators. This will included setting up the new Chip Timing system.

Items will include:
• laptop software
• sign-in process
• registering timing chips
• setup of the timing mat
• final results and categories

This will mark a departure from the old MS Access based system to allow for more simple operation, but also fully integrated with the timing chips. Anyone planning on becoming a laptop operator for the 2019 Leinster League races should put their names down. Initially accepting 10-12 people for this training and will review based on demand.

Volunteers (Non-Running)

You need to have done 2 non-running volunteer roles in a calendar year to qualify for end of year prize

Volunteers (Running)

Check with race director if they have a need for people volunteering and running. Race directors need a minimum number of people available throughout the race to make the race work so non-running volunteers are preferable. While it can be helpful, volunteering in a volunteer and race capacity does not count towards qualifying for end of year prize
