Route Description:
2019 will see a slight variation to previous years course with a new start location from Tig Lin. See route here https://my.viewranger.com/route/details/MjMyOTAwMA==

There will be a junior course of 4km length.

We will also have a string course, 800m long where younger children can follow a string around a course and receive a very small prize for doing so.

Getting There:
2019 - NEW PARKING / START LOCATION
Race HQ and start is at Tig Lin. Eircode A67 FV07.

Parking costs 3 euro per car and will go directly to Tig Lin Challenge a charity that not only helps people to overcome addictions, but really transforms lives.

Take the N11 south from Dublin. Turn off at exit 15 for Ashford. Drive to Ashford village and turn right at the roundabout. After 200m turn left for Devil's Glen/Glendalough. Continue 2km past the entrance to Devils Glen Forest. Entrance on right will be sign posted.

We are NO longer accepting MONEY at races.

Mandatory Gear

Official IMRA race number

Under IMRA rules for competitors safety, it is mandatory to bring and carry a jacket that is shower and wind proof for the entire race. Any competitor seen not carrying or wearing their jacket at any stage in the race will be disqualified. There are no exceptions to this rule.

Finishing without mandatory kit will result in disqualification

Chip timing will be in use for this race. Please ensure that you have a chip coded at registration before starting this race.

Early Start

As this is a trail race there will be NO early start. The race will get underway for everybody at 7.30

Volunteers (Non-Running)

You need to have done 2 non-running volunteer roles in a calendar year to qualify for end of year prize

Check with race director if they have a need for people volunteering and running. Race directors need a minimum number of people available throughout the race to make the race work so non-running volunteers are preferable. While it can be helpful, volunteering in a volunteer and race capacity does not count towards qualifying for end of year prize
