Junior women's race finishes at monument on west side of Knockeenatoung. All other races finish at cross on Galtymore summit.
- Getting There:
- Start is in Skeheenarinky on Mitchelstown to Cahir road. Road junction has a signpost for Galtymore and actual start is on new M8 bridge.

This race is also the trial for the World Trophy. It is uphill only and predominantly on road and track (see course photos). Be very careful of car traffic from locals and walkers on road stretch. Junior women have 5.2 km and 420m climb, all on road or path.

- Notes:
- First 2 miles are uphill on road. Race continues on a track (black road) to the foot of Galtybeg. Turn left at cairn and head for saddle between Galtybeg and Galtymore. Be VERY AWARE of steep cliffs on your right at the start of the climb up Galtymore.

You need to have done 2 non-running volunteer roles in a calendar year to qualify for end of year prize
Volunteers (Running)
Check with race director if they have a need for people volunteering and running. Race directors need a minimum number of people available throughout the race to make the race work so non-running volunteers are preferable. While it can be helpful, volunteering in a volunteer and race capacity does not count towards qualifying for end of year prize
