Teams: Men & Women (fastest 3 times, 5 can run)

Selection basis: Open individual entry and international teams. Wicklow Way Trail and Ultra races and 2010/2011 form. For selection, men are expected to be capable of running a road marathon in under 2 hours 40 minutes and women in under 3 hours 10 minutes. All selection is subject to the athlete being capable of finishing within 20% of the international race winners times. Only athletes who meet the criteria will be selected this means that full teams may not be sent. Selected athletes should be registered with Athletics Ireland.
