Martin BradshawJul 6 2010, 12:44pmThe race will start @ 1pm sharp. It is a 7.5Km race, which starts in the village. The race starts on grass fields and goes across a river and up on to forest tracks for about 600m and then heads up trough closed forest trail 300m on up through a bog fire brake for, which leads runners on to open Mountain where they follow a well marked route to the top. Competitor’s will then turn at the trig point and come back down on the same route. Runner, walkers and all competitors This is an all terrain course from flat running to crossing through rivers to fast running on forest track and tough running over bog. This short course has it all and is open to all types of competitors who whish to test there metal. Entries are taken from 12pm onwards in the village hall, Were looking for all types of sports people to take part from serious sports competitor to walkers, joggers and thrill seekers are all welcome. There will be plenty of food supplied after the race free of charge and prizes for top Finisher along with some spot prizes. Contacts to Martin Bradshaw @ 087-2702932.
