Mick HanneyJan 27 2012, 10:23pmA race director is needed for this race. I'll be on holidays at the time.
Paul O' ConnorApr 10 2012, 1:49pmHas anyone got a GPS trace from last years race?

Ran the route on Friday but we logged close to 11km so obviously went wrong somewhere.
Sam ScrivenApr 10 2012, 10:49pmLast year's race started and finished at the church at the bottom of Rooskey Rd, so slightly different to the route shown on the map. Can't retrieve my gps track but measured 8.7k and 588m climb.
Brian O'MurchuJul 23 2012, 8:20pmI remember there was a bus to Annagh Hill earlier this year for runners to travel to and from the race. Was wondering if anything was in the pipeline for Carlingford? I did this race last year and was really excellent
Vivian O'GormanAug 27 2012, 4:39pmThis is the last Leinster Championship race for 2012. So anyone who has run three of the races has to run this one to finish their Championship.

I just need a couple of volunteers. A First Aid person and Lap Top person. If anybody wants to do either and run thats no problem. Also if anybody wants to go for a walk and do Summit Marshall.

The usual kit requirement goes with this race:

A. Longsleeved rainproof running top
B. Bumbag with chocolates and/or biscuits
C. Water

Map - Compass - Whistle

Race registration will open at 11am

Race start will be as last year

Anyone who wants an early start can go between 11.15 and 11.30

Prizegiving afterwards will be in the carpark by the main road

Don't forget bring all your rubbish home!

Aidan BligheAug 28 2012, 12:00amHi Vivian,
I can do first aider but would like to run to get the 4 races in. Do you have the kit?
Aidan
James DalyAug 28 2012, 10:14amAre the compasses maps and whistles really necessary?

Is it not just standard out and back route?
Vivian O'GormanAug 28 2012, 5:05pmHi Aidan thats great and I will have the first aid bag.

James this is a mountain race - no such thing as a standard one though - weather conditions can change things very quickly whether the course is out and back or not
Donal TroddynAug 28 2012, 5:11pmIf someone can give me a lift up from Dublin, I'll do Laptop for you. I could also help with the first aid while Aidan's out on the course.
Turlough ConwayAug 29 2012, 6:01pmHi. Looking for a lift for Sundays race too. Thanks. turlough
Daniela BoehmAug 31 2012, 12:14pmHi, we are heading up to Carlingford and have 3 spare seats in the car. Leaving Ranelagh around 9.30/9.45, give us a shout at boehm DOT dan AT gmail.com or 08six201six784 if you want a lift. Daniela

Ken CowleySep 1 2012, 8:54pmGreat, thanks for the swimming info!
Stuart ScottSep 2 2012, 2:37amThe slipway in Carlingford sailing club is what I'm aiming for. The tide is in our favour - well its an incentive to run fast at least!

henny brandsmaSep 4 2012, 9:03amJust to clarify myself,in case people think that i am taking some sort of banned
substance's,word spead should read speed, like in running faster and stamyna, should be of course stamina, like in running longer/stronger.
So don't send Una May out to me to do some drugtesting as jet.
Just to let you knowHenny.
