Brendan LawlorSep 11 2011, 5:39pmTop 10 finish for the Senior men and very good performances overall by all the athletes - conditions sounded less than ideal.

Well done to athletes, coaches and managers!
Lindie NaughtonSep 12 2011, 11:15amAnyone found the official results from WMR C'ships? I've only picked up this from an American site:
"Max King and Kasie Enman Crowned World Champions in Tirana, Albania"
Kevin O'RiordanSep 12 2011, 11:20amI heard the senior men's team finished 9th. Haven't been able to find more detailed results.
Peter O'FarrellSep 12 2011, 4:32pmIrish senior men were 26th,35,53,57,59 and 62th which would appear to be the best team performance of recent years by the senior men as all six were competitive on the day and well up the field.
Raced in 35 degrees heat with very very tough conditions for all apparently.

Mud, Sweat and Tears has a report up.

Sounds like it was a regular trail league course run off in a dusty sauna :)

Well done all..
mags GreenanSep 12 2011, 10:53pmSounded like a very tough race and very hot not to mention toxic dust. Well done to all and welcome back to cold windy Ireland.2424
Gerry BradySep 13 2011, 12:06amTop three and Irish results are up on IMRA since Sunday afternoon. A few photos of the leaders on the steep descent uploaded. Very trying conditions!
Dermot MurphySep 13 2011, 9:06amWell done to all Irish athletes - good strong performances throughout the teams. The heat seems to have been a major factor in the results, so the Irish performances are all the more impressive because of this.
