On a glorious Easter Saturday, the first Spring trail league event was held in Crone Wood. Run of the day was by Irish international Edel Mooney who won the women's race from Orla Gormley (Raheny) and Mary Collins. In the men's race, Clonliffe Harriers Kevin English eventually broke away from Mark McKenna from Glaslough Harriers for a convincing win. Paul Nolan continued his comeback from injury with a-solid run in third place. Niall McAllister was first junior. In the team race, orienteering club GEN took the title with Brian Bell and Ciaran Donaghy packing well behind Paul Nolan. Pictures of the race will be put on the web during the week.
