Richard NunanNov 11 2012, 4:51pmAfter 3 years as President of IMRA, Dermot Murphy has decided to step down.
The committee would like to thank Dermot for his tremendous work as President over the last 3 years. Over the years Dermot as President, a runner, as Race Director and volunteering at probably all races has sacrificed an incredible amount of time to IMRA over the years and we wish him all the best in the future. We will be expecting a large decrease in his % of winning time.

Thanks also to Diarmuid o Colmain, who has also been a great asset to IMRA in his role as "Honorary Auditor" and Form Moderator.

And lastly to Paul Whyte who assisted the committee in his role as Ordinary Member.

Thank you to Tom Blackburn and the Muster organisation for holding a fantastic race, followed by wonderful soup and sandwiches and then hosting the AGM.

The new committee for the year 2013 is as follows :

Richard Nunan President
Fiona Sheerin Treasurer
Eoin Keith Secretary
Leo Mahon Junior Affairs Officer
Stuart Scott Equipment Officer
Melanie Earwalker Results and Records Secretary
Jimmy Synnott Safety Officer
Pat Ryan High Performance
Gerry Brady WMRA Rep
Kevin O Riordan Webmaster
Brian Furey Races Co-ordinator
Rachel cinnsealach Ordinary Member
Deirdre Ni Chearbhaill Honorary Auditor

Diarmuid O'ColmainNov 12 2012, 1:55pmWell, I would like to commend all of the committee for their dedication and commitment to IMRA. The amount of time they give up from their normal lives to keep the show on the road is fantastic and we tend to take it far too much for granted. Thank you all!

And there is no doubt that a special vote of thanks is due to Dermot for the immense contribution he has personally made - he is always there, keeping things going. Well done Dermot and thank you.
