Is there any copyright issues with loading maps onto sight. I would like to get an East-West map loaded onto a Leinster Champ event. Is this OK or do we need to stick to OS maps |
| Kevin O'Riordan | Feb 3 2014, 2:52pm | You'd have to contact Barry Dolby about uploading the East West maps. Generally speaking, we're not allowed upload them without permission. For the Nav challenges last year, Gavan had to obfuscate the maps so you could make out the route but not the details of the map. |

Aidan, I have Geolives software with the relevant OSI map tiles so if you or anyone provided me the gpx file of your route I can provide the map for upload (by the imra web admin). Or, without a gpx, if I'm given a sketch or summary ideal of a route I can draw one up and provide the map. Regards, Mick |
