Committee Positions Falling Vacant

| Pól Ó Murchú | Jan 4 2017, 12:55pm | The following positions are currently vacant on the committee and we thought the fairest way was to let people know and put out a call for expressions of interest. The First Position is a new position which was introduced as a result of a motion which was passed at the AGM and is that of "Training & Development Officer". The idea here is that this person would coordinate all training for the year, identify and gaps that need filling and produce relevant training materials and guidelines etc. The exact wording of this can be found under motion 4 of the following document: http://media.imra.ie/ad-hoc/agm_motions_2016.docx The second position is that of "High Performance Officer". This is most definitely a bit more specialist and would ideally require some level of experience in this area either on a personal level or through previous experience in a club/coaching environment. Some more information on this role is available in the constitution document below. Or if you wish I can put you in touch with the Pat Ryan who previously held this position. Pat is stepping down due to personal reasons but has committed to giving any assistance he can to the new holder of the role. Pat has been involved in the IMRA committee for the past 6 years and was key in strengthening our ties with Athletics Ireland and will be a great loss to the committee.
