Luke RaffertyMay 19 2017, 11:27pmHey Brian - just hoping you got my email this morning? I sent it your IMRA address. I cannot make it tomorrow, apologies. I really wanted to attend. Regards Luke
Pól Ó MurchúMay 20 2017, 4:03pmApologies to all who turned up for training this morning. Unfortunately due to unforseen circumstances the trainer didn't turn up. Many thanks to those who took time to attend. We will hopefully reschedule shortly and hopefully you can make again.
Mick HanneyMay 20 2017, 4:20pmGiven the difficulty of getting people lined up for a full day course at a weekend, it might be possible to consider a compressed version of same to 3 hours so. To focus on the typical things which happen at an IMRA event. A reduced time commitment might make it easier to reschedule, perhaps with the option of an evening.
Stuart ScottMay 22 2017, 10:27amThe trainer would be best placed to comment on whether a shorter course would be sufficient. However I'd feel it's better for the first aider to be aware of and be able to recognise of all the other medical events and injuries that could happen at an IMRA event, however unlikely they may be. It's not just about knowing how to handle a few scrapes (or use the magic sponge)! Having said that, I wonder could the course be run over a few evenings instead? Hopefully it can be rescheduled soon.
