This Tuesday the 18th of July 2017 Setanta Orienteers will host a come and try it non-league event at Dodder Valley Park. This is part of the summer series. There will be two courses on offer Long and Short. Dodder Valley Park is a long narrow linear park so it is very suitable for beginners wishing to try it out. Dodder Valley Park is located in Knocklyon and parking will be available at the back of Ahearns pub on the Firhouse Road. Ahearns have kindly allowed them to use there car park so feel free to have a post race refreshment there afterwards.

Courses are as follows

Long 5.1km 20 controls
short 2.2km 11 controls

Entry fees are as follows

Adults €7
Juveniles/ students/ OAP's €4

S.I timing will be used. You can hire S.I cards at registration for €2

Courses open from 6pm-7:30pm and courses will close at 8:30pm.
