New Wicklow Maps from EastWest Mapping
Two great new 1:25,000 scale maps are now available for County Wicklow. Wicklow South and Wicklow South East are part of our new 25Series, with greatly enhanced detail. These maps have a good level of consistency and accuracy in terms of features shown. There are many enhancements over our 1:30,000 scale maps but one of the most noticeable are the new detailed contours at a 5 metre interval. The main details of the landscape are clearly visible on the map, with fine detail such as rural buildings, ditches, fences and minor placenames all available on closer examination.

This new 25Series is available folded and printed on Progeo map paper, a good quality paper. For durability and weatherproof use, we also offer fully encapsulated sheets. These are covered and sealed within a high quality flexible laminate.

Covers and sample detail here with links to the two new sheets below. Best viewed on desktop, laptop, tablet devices.

Gavan DohertyFeb 12 2018, 6:58pmHi Mick,

I ordered the 2 new maps from www.eastwestmapping.ie and they arrived the next day (went for the laminated/waterproof option).

They look really good - great to have places like Annagh Hill and Aughrim finally well mapped.

Opens up lots more choices for Nav Challenges down your direction. Could also be useful for anyone wanting to explore the southern part of the Wicklow Way.

thanks for the heads up.
