She bet Donna McLoughlin's course record (17:01:10) to 16:50:04 (live primal tracking - time to be confirmed)! She had her eyes set on the record from January 2017. It's great to see an athlete brush herself off after the disappointement and heartache of last year (where she got lost on the final stretch), take all the slagging about getting lost, train her heart out, line up at the start and run such a perfect race to smash the record! All the sacrifice and hard hard hard HARD work paid off! |
