I'm looking for a first Aider and a couple of course marshals I would like to thank those who have volunteered I would like to remind spectators that there is an Ironman swimming competition in the lake at the same time so it will be busy in Glendalough

It's a junior international races for Under 17s and 20s with teams from England Scotland Wales Northern Ireland and Ireland

Jeff FitzsimonsSep 8 2018, 6:57pmWell done to all the runners representing Ireland today. Very high standard event and all runners were spent at the finish showing they gave their all to the cause.

Massive thanks due to their families for supporting their training and involvement in hill running also. And to Leo and volunteers for putting on a very well run few days and Miriam for putting huge time into getting the teams prepared. Onwards and upwards from here for all.
