Seb SzmDec 6 2018, 7:51amHi all,

I am a newbie here but I have been running for a last couple of years, on roads and in the mountains. Lucky enough, I will be taking part in Art O’Neill Challenge 2019 (hybrid) and I am looking for an advised how to prepare for such an event.

In the past I did few runs in the night nothing to long (Howth clifs & Djouce), I can handle sleep depravation.

I would appreciate your advise.

Recce recce & recce.
I dived it in 3. Start to check point 1.easy. Cp1 to cp2. Cp2 to finish. Both tricky. Had to change my planned route on the night due to rain and flooding, so don’t just have one route picked out.
I Felt very comfortable about the route but still got lost for 30 mins up around 3 lakes.
Seb SzmDec 6 2018, 8:33pmThank you both. I thought there was only one check point (after 30km) and then another at the finish line.
I am hoping to run last 23km both ways before the race.

Many thanks

Seb
