Richard NunanJan 7 2020, 2:13pmHi Folks,

Just a quick post on the Maurice Mullins race this year.
*********************************************************************

All details have now been updated on the event page, but there are a few items to note

1.) Entries will open 1st of Feb and close on the 1st of March

2.) There is no early start this year, But we have moved the start time to 9:00am and the cutoffs forward by 30 minutes. Race time is based on based on the last finish time of the last 3 years.

3.) The important one ! We will be using chip timing to make things easier on the organizers.

THERE IS NO WAITING LIST OR TRANSFERS FOR THE 2020 MAURICE MULLINS ULTRA OR TRAIL

Please if you think you will not complete the Ultra in approx 8.5 hours/ please enter the Trail race.

We would ask to please do not ask for waiting lists or propose or start a waiting list. Imagine we have to ask that. This would mean the organisers can get on with planning and organising a safe and fun event

Thanks in advance and the best of luck with the training in the coming months

Johnny McKinleyJan 27 2020, 1:17pmHi, I'd welcome any suggestions for accommodation close to the start, where would you recommend?
John J BarryJan 27 2020, 3:06pmOn a budget:
Knockree Youth Hostel
Lackan House, Lackandarragh, Enniskerry, Co. Wicklow•(01) 276 7981

Otherwise any of the South Dublin Hotels e.g.
IMI Residence - Dundrum Hotel
Sandyford Rd, Dundrum, Dublin 16, D16 X8C3•(01) 207 5900

I used both of them in the past and they are good.
