European Sr. & Jr. And World U18 Cup Trial Races

On Saturday 16th June, the WMRA International U18 Cup(Formerly Known as Youth Cup) takes place in Lanzada, Italy. This race will be open to those runners born in 2001 and 2002.


The championship course will be approximately 4.5km long for boys and girls. These course details will be confirmed when the full details are provided by the event organisers.


A trial race will be held on Saturday 24th March in Glendalough over a course on Camaderry of similar distance and elevation gain to that expected at the championship race.


On Sunday 1st July, the European Mountain Running Championships (Up & Down) take place in Skopje, Macedonia


The junior races at this event will be open to those runners born in 1999 and 2000. The championship course will be approximately 5 to 6 km long for both girls and boys. These course details will be confirmed when the full details are provided by the event organisers.


A trial race will be held on Sunday 8th April over a course on Slievenamon, Tipperary over a course of similar distance to that of the championship race.


The senior races will also take place on Sunday 1st July with the trial being held on Slievenamon also on Sunday 8th April.
