McCormack and Hanna Performing on the World Stage

Sarah McCormack sits in 3rd place in the WMRA Mountain Running World Rankings after an outstanding 2018 season. With podium finishes, 3rd at both Smarna Gora and Adelholzen Hochfelln Mountain Race, to her name in world cup races in 2018. Sarah is flying the Irish flag at the highest level for female Irish mountain runners.

Were it not for the stupendous results of Sarah Zak Hanna might have this news item to himself! Still a relative newcomer to the sport of mountain running Zak is sitting in 13th in the mens rankings. Zak finished in 14th and 15th at Smarna Gora and Adelholzen Hochfelln Mountain Race respectively.

I am sure everyone can agree it is great to have two athletes representing Irish mountain running on the international stage. Onwards and upwards for 2019.
