McCormack makes it two-in-a-row Snowdon Victories

Sarah McCormack had another excellent performance on Snowdon. Last year she was a clear winner on a shortened course. This year she came back and by over 3 minutes in a time of 01:20:57. Diane Wilson led home the Northern Ireland team in eight position in a time of 01:33:50.

Ian Conroy had a heroic climb to the summit in fourth position but a disappointing descent saw him slip to 16th. Ian lost a little time when he stopped to check on James Kevan at around the seven miles mark. Kevan had climbed steadily then moved into sixth before taking a heavy fall which put him out of the race. Killian Mooney ran a steadier race to finish 10th overall. Andrew Annett completed the Irish team in 20th. Gavin Mulholland led home the Northern Ireland team in 9th position followed by Seamus Lynch in 17th. Bernard Fortune (SBR) had a very solid run in 01:25:30
