Organisers Instructions:
This is a self sufficient race. All entrants must have available crew at all times. The clock will start at midnight 11:59pm on Friday 22nd (Start of Saturday) and clock will stop at midnight on Sat night 28th allowing 8 full days to complete the course. All travel must be completed on foot only and trackers must be attached at all times. Runners and their crews are fully responsible for themselves at all times. Hi viz Full vest and lights (front torch and red led to rear must be worn in all hours of darkness *********************************************************** RELAY TEAMS: A team can have as many or as little members as you wish but all must be signed up BEFORE event and all must be 2024 IMRA MEMBERS. You hand the tracker over on meeting the next team member whether it’s after 20km or 100km. This is a really nice way of getting the challenge done. For instance if you have a team of 10 from a triathlon club etc, then each runners could do for instance 30km on the Saturday ( say Wicklow way) and the same runner would do 30km of Blackwater way on the Thursday.

Volunteers (Non-Running)

You need to have done 2 non-running volunteer roles in a calendar year to qualify for end of year prize

Current Volunteers

Please login to myIMRA to volunteer to help at this event. You should aim to volunteer at least once for every 10 events that you run.

Volunteers (Running)

Check with race director if they have a need for people volunteering and running. Race directors need a minimum number of people available throughout the race to make the race work so non-running volunteers are preferable. While it can be helpful, volunteering in a volunteer and race capacity does not count towards qualifying for end of year prize
