Croagh Patrick descent time?

ambrose flynn | Jun 2 2008, 11:44pm | Hi. I climbed Croagh Patrick during the June Bank Holiday weekend - and I recall being told that the descent record for Croagh Patrick is 10min (or there abouts). Can anyone confirm this as I was ridiculed for suggesting that this was plausable. Cheers. |
cormac o ceallaigh | Jun 3 2008, 7:02am | i understand the fastest descent time was recorded by John Brooks about 3 yrs ago when he clocked 14mins odd,he was virtually airborne on his descent. i also understand he set an over all record that year. |
Paul Nolan | Jun 3 2008, 10:59am | There might have to be a stewart's inquiry. Myself, Mark Caslin and Trumps McCauley tobogganed off the Reek in the first hour of January 1st 1994 in 'no time at all'. 60cm of snow and a few old coal sacks made all the difference. |
