IMRA Photo Moments

Mick HanneyMay 31, 11:13pmPity we don't have the ability to put comments on photos, so a separate thread has to suffice. Captured this at Brockagh last night.
Thought some Braveheart type face paint was being worn :-)
Jeff SwordsJun 1, 9:53amHa, looks like a faceplant happened somewhere along the way !
Jason KehoeJun 1, 10:13amNice catch Mick!

Been there, done that, got the IMRA t-shirt, all the signs of the classic Braveheart faceplant alright. Lucky it was on the beautiful soft slopes of Brockagh. Could have been a nasty spill with several trips to the hospital and dentist ensuing.
Paul JoyceJun 1, 6:39pm

Brilliant photo, its like a modern day Jack Yeats painting.
Mick HanneyJun 1, 6:54pmI kinda like this one. Runner in full flow heading away from the camera downhill on the springy ground.

I'm thankful to John for some pointers to help with my amateur camera work the other day too.

Jason MooreJun 1, 7:38pmwell mick its not war paint i have on,i actually fell and went face down into muck, and the caption i would put with that pic you got of me is,THANK GOD THAT WASNT COW DUNG.well done on all pics you got that night
Mick HanneyJun 1, 7:47pmGood man Jason. Indeed, it could have been worse.
Alan AylingJun 5, 10:22am

"Like a Batt out of hell"...
Paul O'GradyJun 5, 1:12pm

I honestly thought I had broken my ankle - my foot had twisted inwards so much that my actual ankle bone hit the path - just as well John Shiels was there (to take the photo!!)
Ronan HickeyJun 5, 2:58pmGreat thread idea!

Surely the "Legalize It" campaign's next poster!?

Joe LalorJun 5, 3:56pmNow we know what is in the pipe
aidan roeJun 6, 5:00pmwould explain a lot. Class.
Spawn of the Pipe (DK)Jun 6, 7:44pm"Explains a lot", you reckon ?
John CondonJun 7, 11:55pm

"it's on the tip of me tongue"
Mick HanneyJun 17, 3:50pmThis is the way all races should end.
Brian O'MurchuJun 17, 11:10pmThat kind of move (of the last photo) would have gotten at DQ for Bray
Hazel ThompsonJun 18, 5:50pmPeter???
Jason KehoeJun 19, 5:56pmWhat? you don't see him?

Pull out, stop, wait, track in, stop, enhance reflection, zoom, pan right, find a water droplet, zoom 80, enhance reflection, stop, rotate 170, zoom 220.

There's Peter right there!
Peter O'FarrellJun 19, 6:54pmYep Hazel - Bernard is beside me in the photo and the sound you can hear is two grown men wailing with the realisation we're on the wrong hill...
Justin ReaJun 19, 7:16pmAnd when I saw the three leaders heading up Mullacor and Peter with the map flapping away in his hand as he powered past the other two I thought: Winner all right. . .
Brendan LawlorJun 24, 3:31pm

Aisling Renshaw - eat your heart out!
Peter O'FarrellJun 28, 11:03am

love it!
Mick HanneyJul 1, 1:06pmYou know the conditions are challenging when even the dogs are wearing raincoats.
Jeff SwordsJul 23, 4:22pmAfter a hard days crime fighting Peter Farrell claimed he didn't have time to change out of his alter egos outfit, knowingly aware that his spidey abilities would be a boon to the summit of the Sugar Loaf.

(Can't be just me that thinks it looks like someone in a spiderman suit ? )
