CaitlÃn Bent | Dec 11 2012, 3:31am | Yeh! What a great run for Fionnuala Britten and her team! Watched it yesterday with great pride and emotion. |
Jeff Swords | Dec 11 2012, 12:30pm | I like to think it was mixing it up with the IMRA runners at the mountain rescue benefit at the end of the summer that gave her that extra bit of ooommph to keep her title. |
John Condon | Dec 11 2012, 1:10pm | She did look like she was taking the climbs all in her stride alright. Well done Fionnuala and the rest of the Irish team. Kilcoole Abú! |
Gerry Brady | Dec 12 2012, 12:28am | Fantastic performance (must be some Dublin blood there somewhere :). Nice to see mountain runner Sarah McCormack on the winning senior women's team. Good performances from mountain runners: Eoghan Totten and Killian Mooney in the junior men; Clare McCarthy in the junior women; and Sam Mealy in the under 23 men. Former mountain runner Sean Hehir ran well. Sean Tobin had to pull out due to an illness and Jake O'Regan, Sarah Miles, Fiona Roche, and Stephen Scullion were edged out in the trials. Onwards and upwards! |
