| Jim Fitzharris | May 22 2014, 5:15pm | There are many new faces every year and, indeed, every week at IMRA races. That is welcome as it helps to replace the drop-outs. It might be no harm to reiterate that headphones are barred at races and can lead to a DQ. I saw a runner last night fumbling with a USB key (presumably an MP3 of some sort) and it took a moment or two for me to spot that he was actually wearing earphones! I told him not to use them - he had to remove them to listen to my admonition! Cheers, Jim. |
