Walk the Line is a fund-raising event for the Dublin & Wicklow Mountain Rescue Team and takes place over the night of Saturday 21st June 2014.

Our mountains can be used for so much – walking, climbing, camping and hill-running.

Our event “Walk the Line” aims to cater for both the seasoned hill-walkers/hill runners and also those walkers/runners who want to give the hills a try with a super route in and around the Glendalough area.
Diarmuid O'ColmainJun 6 2014, 12:03amBrendan,

do you really mean this is an outing in the hills that isn't a race? You mean I might actually enjoy it!

What a novel idea! Hell it might even be fun!

And on midsummer night - great idea.

John ShielsJun 6 2014, 12:56pmThere are some people planning on running the "Walk" the line route on the night. there is no reason you can't run the route and be home in bed by 2 am!
Jon O'SheaJun 18 2014, 11:16am@Brendan, Is there a possibility of an early start for runners.

Also, is the loop clockwise or Anticlockwise ?
Brendan LawlorJun 18 2014, 11:37amHi Jon

The route is clockwise. Runners will start at 10pm to allow time for marshals to be in position

Still room for a few more if anyone fancies it !!
Jason DowlingJun 20 2014, 5:58pmThe pack that was sent out today has the runners down for a 9pm start time.
Brendan LawlorJun 20 2014, 6:02pmHi Jason

Thats a typo, apologies - runners are starting at 10pm
