Running in Ring of Kerry area

| Eric Blake | Jul 30 2014, 11:42pm | Visiting your great country from the states! I will be visiting Run for Kerry and staying in Waterville later this week. Could anyone give me some good hilly runs in that area? Trails are better then roads but both are ok. Thank you! |
| Niall Corrigan | Jul 31 2014, 10:18am | Hi Eric, There's a nice section of the Kerry Way between Waterville and Caherdaniel with fantastic views over the sea. You could make a nice 30k loop out of it if you wanted to go that long. For extensive local knowledge you could do worse than calling into Kerry Outdoor Sports in Killarney. The nice folks there would be happy to pour over a map with you and give you options for runs of any duration in any part of Kerry. Enjoy Niall |
| Conor Murphy | Aug 4 2014, 2:51am | Only saw this now, and did 30km of the Kerry Way early Saturday morning with 3 others, Glenbeigh to just outside Waterville, even drove through it en route to the start. Hope you got out on some stretch of it. |
