| Richard Nunan | Oct 18 2014, 8:28pm | Well done to all who took part in the inaugural Mournes Skyline race today - A strong international field took to the hills as this race is part of the UK Sky Runner series. 35km, 3500 Meters climb and a very strong wind making running even on the 100 meters road section tough.. Excellent runs from Paul Tierney and Adrian Hennessy Diane Wilson last years Irish Championship winner was 3rd lady home, with the worlds number 1 Skyrunner, World Series Champion Stevie Kremerin 1st place Well done also to Sarah McCormack who was 1st lady(4th place) in lastnights uphill race "Granite Trail Race" Results should be posted here tonight http://www.mourneskylinemtr.com/results |
