I was asking the same last year and there was plenty of advice, all on the ferry with various means of getting from there to llanberis. From car hire to cycling. I couldn't get anywhere with car hire, and the buses just didn't line up for the Friday evening ferry and getting to the campsite on time, or maybe it was the way back that was the problem. So I booked the ferry shortstay rate, drove and camped in a site near the village in the end. Friday afternoon Ferry and evening Ferry home after the race on Sat. If there was a few of you sharing a car, ferry might work out OK to stay the night after the race. |
