Results and Records Secretary

Tanya SheridanAug 20 2018, 1:31pmHi everyone,

As you know, Karen Devenney has been IMRA’s Results and Records Secretary for the last three years. It is a critical role for IMRA, which Karen has carried out with great care and commitment. We are very grateful to Karen for that.

As Karen is stepping back from the Results and Records Secretary role this year, we wanted to check if there are any members interested in taking over from her. We would like to give the new Records Secretary the maximum amount of time to overlap with Karen so he/she can learn the role and be ready to start in January.

The Committee is a very collegial group so there is always support there for any role, especially for new members.

Of course, the role of Results and Records Secretary and every other Committee role is subject to nomination and election at the AGM.

Anyone who is interested in becoming Results and Records Secretary or in any other role on the Committee should contact any Committee member for more information.

Thanks,
The Committee

Stuart ScottAug 20 2018, 8:09pmWell done Karen. Your dedication over the last few years has been amazing and you've given up countless races and pub chat in order to get results in order. You've also been remarkably restrained in your replies to some forum posts too! Now where are the Galtymore results?? :-)
Louis MulleeAug 21 2018, 11:56amThanks Karen for all your hard work as results & records secretary over the years, much appreciated!

John MurrayAug 22 2018, 12:16pmThanks for all the hard work Karen! Much appreciated!

@ Committee
The role may seem self explanatory but perhaps a little brief description on exactly whats involved, time required etc. might make it easier for someone to decide if they can take on the position.
Conor O'FarrellAug 27 2018, 2:48pmThanks Karen for all the hard work. There's been many a time when the result have been up while before we got home from races, which is a lot more than anyone expects from a volunteer role.
Alice ClancyAug 27 2018, 5:15pmKaren, well done on a brilliant job! Your hard work is very much appreciated by all I think...also your skills of diplomacy ;-)
