Paul O'Callaghan | Dec 19 2018, 9:18pm | This is official notification that I'll be making an attempt at the Wicklow Round this Friday, 21st December (Mid-Winter Solstice), starting at 7:25am. This will be a solo and unsupported(self-sufficient) attempt. I'll carry all my gear and provisions from the start, for the duration of the attempt, and will not have drop bags or logistics support along the route. For safety and updates, Simon Kelly will monitor my progress with a tracker, and check on me at road crossings. |

The WR is tricky at the best of times let alone mid winter on the shortest day. A massive hats off to you Paul! Enjoy the celebrations Gareth |
