Brian Kitson | May 23 2024, 12:46pm | Is there an un-put-downable page-turning breath-taking must-re-reader adventure story you think is worth adding to the reading list?? Please share as I’m always on the lookout for book recommendations, as I’m sure are others. I’ll get things started, the following books are simply brilliant: 1. A Voyage for Madmen – Peter Nichols 2. Left for Dead – Nick Ward 3. Endurance – Alfred Lancing (features one of the great opening lines, “The order to abandon ship was given at 5 p.m.”) 4. Dark Summit – Nick Heil Ta in advance. "There is no Frigate like a book to take us lands away." Emily Dickinson. |
