Conor O'Daly | Apr 3 2025, 4:35pm | Hi All, thanks to Richard and the team for another fantastic Maurice Mullins. It was my 2nd and enough time has passed since finishing to say I had an absolute blast. I can see I picked up UTMB points from last year's MM and this year's Wicklow Way Half. I was wondering if and when points might be allocated from this year's MM as I am running Ultra Trail Snowdonia in a month and the points might help with my wave start? Thanks a lot. |
Pól Ó Murchú | Apr 3 2025, 6:53pm | Hi Conor, Your message is quite timely. I only recently (last Saturday) uploaded all the results for last year to the UTMB site and set up some of the events for this year along with results. At the time the results for MM 2025 were not published but I have them updated now so should be updated on the UTMB site in the coming days. Best of luck in Snowdonia. It's a cracking spot over there! A few of us went over a couple of years ago for that race. I'd never been over there running before but wow what a spot and generally speaking so easy to get to from here too. I'm sure you will really enjoy it. |
Brian Mullins | Apr 3 2025, 8:33pm | Conor, I wouldn’t worry about the wave start in Snowdonia, it all disperses on the mile or two of road before you even begin the climb up Yr Wyddfa. Ask Lonan, he finished a few months (hours!) ahead of me last year!!! The only waves you need to worry about are the sections of floating peat that oscillate up and down as you cross some of the bottomless bogs along the course. You may even be lucky enough to go up to your thighs in loamy slop in places crossing some of them and experience proper Welsh conditions! Enjoy. BM |
