Crotty's Lake

Jarlath HynesMay 6 2025, 2:28pmWe'll have the exact route for the next race of the South East League finalised later this week - but it will be an anti-clockwise loop from the carpark at the entrance via forest trails and open mountain to Crotty's Lake and back to finish at the visitors 'hut'.
It's a lovely location & there is camping available, if anyone fancies staying over on Fri or Sat night.
Thanks to Bernard, the landowner, for giving us access to this fantastic amenity.

A few more volunteers would be great - running or non-running.

And we still need a First Aid officer for the race to go ahead. Anyone?

There's a nice mix of forest trails, a challenging climb up to the glacial lake, time for a brief glance up to the Ass's Ears before a relatively technical descent back down to rejoin main trail.

This race is ideal for those new to IMRA races, but runners with decent grip are recommended.

Another couple of marshals for the course would be great, if anyone needs to get a volunteering stint done,
