As most runners will be approaching race from Bray dual carriageway please stop at Glencormac Inn and fill up or park your car. Parking at race will be at old Calary filling station, it will hold 35 to 40 cars so park them as tightly as possible. As a consequence of numbers competing and in the interests of safety the route of this race has been altered. The route to the summit will be as normal up the west gully, runners will descend by travelling 100m NE from the summit before turning anti-clockwise until they regain the track they travelled out on. Please be advised that the underfoot conditions on this race are far more severe that the race last week at Hellfire. Those not used to running on rocky ground should exercise great care particularly when descending

Volunteers (Running)

Check with race director if they have a need for people volunteering and running. Race directors need a minimum number of people available throughout the race to make the race work so non-running volunteers are preferable. While it can be helpful, volunteering in a volunteer and race capacity does not count towards qualifying for end of year prize
