Getting There:
If you want to use public transport, Bray is well served. Bray Dart Station is about a kilometre from the registration point. Train times are available from the Irish Rail site. The fastest bus to Bray is the 145 altough it is also served by the 45 and the 84.
Organisers Instructions:
Race starts from outside the Strand Hotel on the Bray front. Race takes a direct (very steep) line to the cross at the summit and returns to the start by a steep gravel track through the forest, shoes with good grip are esssential. The winning time for this race will be of the order of 12 minutes but make no mistake this is a tough race especially two days after Christmas. Race directors need a minimum number of people available throughout the race to make the race work so non-running volunteers are preferable. While it can be helpful, volunteering in a volunteer and race capacity does not count towards qualifying for end of year prize
