| Brian Smyth | Feb 28 2024, 10:51pm | Hi Folks The Dysart Dash SEL race page has been updated. Race will take place on 24th March at 11am in Dysart Woods, Co Laois. The route has been revised this year and will be approx. 6.5km with 250m of ascent . Please see route map on race page. Entries will open the week before the race. Last year's inaugural race got great numbers , so here's hoping for the same again . I'd be very grateful if we could get some volunteers signed up. Please sign up on race event page . Including a few heavy legs from the MM perhaps : ) There will be a Junior Route also, which will be a little over 3km and will be an out and back course . There will be a marshal at turnaround point. (See race event page for further info on this ) . The course is sloppy in sections , trail runners are strongly advised . Please carpool as much as possible . Carpark charges are on event page . Reg open from 9.45am to 10.45am . Race briefing is at 10.50am . Race start at 11am . Junior race will start 5 mins after main race . Just a reminder please ensure to leave no trace before , during and after the race . We will have rubbish bags at registration and refreshment tables . Look forward to seeing you all in the morn . Well done to all the runners today , tis a tricky little route. Congrats to all those who finished with a podium place. We will be in touch in the coming days regarding your prizes .
