| Alan Power | Aug 26 2010, 9:51am | Hi there, From The David foundation, we really wanted to extend our thanks to all who volunteered and participated in The David Foundation HellFire Race. We are a small charity, so events like this make a huge difference. The David Foundation is a registered irish charity collecting funds to build homes for people with disabilities in lesotho. All members are volunteers, and all building work is coordinated locally by our local architect in Lesotho Jim McCloy, who works with Lesotho builders to build the homes. As a result, all money raised goes directly toward the building itself, and also helps the local economy in lesotho. The money raised from the race will go towards the new home of Joshua Motlatsi Mats'a, a 27 man with severe learning difficulties, born in Maseru, Lesotho. We are very grateful for helping us in this, and would love to get involved in future events.
