Mullaghmeen Forest: Mullaghmeen is the largest planted Beech Forest in Western Europe. The area of 1,000 acres are situated on the Meath / Westmeath border 5 miles outside Oldcastle
A COMPULSORY rain jacket must be carried for the race. No jacket no race.. IMRA rules.. Sign in and number collection is in the carpark from 10.30. Usual St Brigids refreshments post race.

Volunteers (Running)

Check with race director if they have a need for people volunteering and running. Race directors need a minimum number of people available throughout the race to make the race work so non-running volunteers are preferable. While it can be helpful, volunteering in a volunteer and race capacity does not count towards qualifying for Leinster League finisher prize
