Getting There:
DIRECTIONS; Anyone coming to this event if you are comming from Hospital, Mitchelstown, Kilfinnan, or Tipperary come to Galbally village turn right for Lisvernane(The Glen of Aherlow). Through Lisvernane Village at the first cross roads turn right, down to the end of this road turn left. Take the next left up Glen Coish Abinga, this turn should be marked we are starting just up here about 100 metres.
If you are coming from the Cahir side take the Tipperary,Limerick road from Cahir, turn left just after the Silver Sands straight through Rossadredhid, past the Caravansurry pub on your right about a mile after turn left this should be signposted on the day and 100 metres on your left. Start is in Glen Coish at 12 noon. Tea and sandwiches and prizegiving in Community Hall in Lisvernane.

Entry form

This race together with the Leinster schools mountain race, and 2008/2009 cross-country and mountain running form will be used to select the under 16 and under 18 teams for the British and Irish international. Note runners born in 1991 who have finished school may compete as guests.

You need to have done 2 non-running volunteer roles in a calendar year to qualify for end of year prize

Check with race director if they have a need for people volunteering and running. Race directors need a minimum number of people available throughout the race to make the race work so non-running volunteers are preferable. While it can be helpful, volunteering in a volunteer and race capacity does not count towards qualifying for end of year prize
