Christy O'Brien (Thurles Croke) had the fastest time of the day by almost two minutes when winning the intermediate boys race (the senior and intermedate races started together). John Harrington (Dunmanway) won the senior boys race in 24:29 ahead of the much improved Kieran Daly (Dunmanway) and Declan Power (Dungarvan CBS). Luke Kelly won the junior boys.

Aisling Everard (Dunmanway) won the junior girls race by over two minutes from Lucy O'Brien (Blackwater). Aine Power (Ard Scoil na nDeise) and Rebecca Maher (Ard Scoil na nDeise) won the intermediate and senior girls races.
