Getting There:
Currabinny is about 6.5 km east of Carrigaline, south of R613. The area is on northern side of Owenboy River and the tip of the peninsula of old red sandstone sloping to sea on three sides which juts into Cork Harbour. Organisers Instructions:

Race registration will open from 18:30 to 19:15 for Kids Race (Starting at 19:30). Adults can reg for their race up until 20:00 SHARP. NO ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER THAT! Adults Race starts 20:15. All runners MUST be IMRA reg. Please bring your number, if new, please bring the filled out membership form. We will not have forms on the night. Please print from www.imra.ie/forms and fill out. €5 for regd, €10 for non regd (incorporating membership)

If you have already run an IMRA race this year, please bring the race number given to you at that race as it is valid for the full year.

A torch is required for all participants in this race.

Also under IMRA rules for competitors safety, it is mandatory to bring and carry a jacket that is shower and wind proof for the entire race. Any competitor seen not carrying or wearing their jacket at any stage in the race will be disqualified. There are no exceptions to this rule!

You need to have done 2 non-running volunteer roles in a calendar year to qualify for end of year prize

Check with race director if they have a need for people volunteering and running. Race directors need a minimum number of people available throughout the race to make the race work so non-running volunteers are preferable. While it can be helpful, volunteering in a volunteer and race capacity does not count towards qualifying for end of year prize
