Route Description:
The route for this years 60-63km race first takes on the majority of the Half Marathon Route up over Sliabhriadh before coming back at 21km to the school start point (also aid station). Runners will then head out on the original Marathon Route with a further Aid station at approx 42km mark.

Mandatory Kit: jacket, phone, ability to carry 250ml water, some source of energy (food).

Start and Finish is Scoil Pol Hot Dinner, Dessert, Tea, Coffee afterwards as well as showers in the GAA next door

Volunteers (Non-Running)

You need to have done 2 non-running volunteer roles in a calendar year to qualify for end of year prize

Check with race director if they have a need for people volunteering and running. Race directors need a minimum number of people available throughout the race to make the race work so non-running volunteers are preferable. While it can be helpful, volunteering in a volunteer and race capacity does not count towards qualifying for end of year prize
