All runners must bring the above items to the race. The actual kit to be carried during the race will be finalised on the day, depending on conditions etc., and clearly advised at Registration.

You should also have the means to carry all the kit in case required.

Failure to have the required items may lead to you being denied entry to the race, or disqualification. Random checks may be carried out.

Getting There:

Juniors:
There will be a Junior route, approx 5K, with a marshal at the turn point.

Please note U10 must be accompanied on the race route by a guardian or parent.

Early Start:
There will be no early start.
Organisers Instructions:
This event takes place on private land, with permission from the landowner. There is ample carparking, €2 per car.

Registration will open at 9.45am & close at 10.45am

There will be a Short course/Junior Route, which will be approx 5km. There will be a marshal at turnaround point.

Mandatory jacket must be worn/carried for duration of race.

The loop section around Crotty's Lake is quite technical & slippy even on dry days... so trail runners with good grip are recommended.

Headphones may not be used during IMRA races.

As per IMRA guidelines, race number should be worn on front of chest (not on shorts or bag), so spotters can see number clearly at finish line.

There will be no early start.

Prizegiving Location:
Prize giving will be at the finish area.
 

Volunteers (Non-Running)

You need to have done 2 non-running volunteer roles in a calendar year to qualify for end of year prize

Check with race director if they have a need for people volunteering and running. Race directors need a minimum number of people available throughout the race to make the race work so non-running volunteers are preferable. While it can be helpful, volunteering in a volunteer and race capacity does not count towards qualifying for end of year prize
